deficits. that s a lot different than the billion they were supposed to make. there s been a lot of divisiveness, dissension. it s a great state, i love the state, but it s not been an easy journey. you re right about a month ago, i was actually number two, i think i was number three, now number one by quite a margin. so i m honored by that. we have a target on your back, you and senator rand paul have sparred a bit in the past couple week. his campaign is going hard after you, using some of your own words again you in a new tv ad that they say will begin airing night. we ll run a brief snippet, i d love your take. hillary clinton is a terrific woman. i m biased, because i ve known her for years. i ve been around for a long
screaming and pacing the aisles creating a chaotic scene in the air. passengers forced to take him down. we re live at new jersey s newark airport where the plane eventually landed safely. this is some frightening stuff. good morning, heather. good morning to you and your viewers. ten hours into a flight from hong kong to newark a crazed passenger, a man who identifies himself as an american from upstate new york, goes on a bizarre paranoid rant. he s begging and screaming saying the government is trying to kill him. take a listen to a brief snippet of that rant. somebody help me. somebody help me, please. somebody help me! it lasted for six hours until the flight finally landed here in newark. he never threatened passengers on board. he just rambled nonsenseically. we got a chance to catch up with some of the passengers and they shared their thoughts on this ordeal. he said he worked for
and, you know, i accept that apology and feel he was saying that in the heat of the moment. right. but he doesn t like the media, generally, that s, i think that s well established. i got that very clearly from watching even that brief snippet of videotape. now, on this elusive, alleged crack smoking, cell phone video. the website gawker has raised $200,000 from its readers to try to buy this from the source that s peddling it. does that checkbook journalism cause you any concern? oh, yeah. this has raised all sorts of ethical debates among canadians. but somehow we have to establish whether this video does exist and somehow get it on the public record or at least into police hands and they can, they can scrutinize it appropriately. will your newspaper pay for it? would we pay for it?
one important point to make from law enforcement, we had one of the officers on a little while ago. heard a brief snippet of the press conference there. he s asking any potential witnesses to please come forward with any information that you might have. you can imagine probably several hundred people in that one theater. who knows how many throughout the entire complex. so they re asking anyone who saw, heard, witnessed anything to please come forward and talk to police. they re also asking the media. you can imagine the growing throng of reporters and cameras gathering at that scene. that if anyone in the media finds someone who has not spoken to the cops, direct them to authorities so police can get the best information possible from people who were inside that particular theater or inside that building all together. just sounds like this was an orchestrated attack by this one potentially lone wolf gentleman. he had multiple weapons, apparently had some kind of canister. perhaps full
