As of Wednesday, data from the State of Michigan reported there have been 1,057 cumulative confirmed cases and 1,380 cumulative probables of COVID-19 in Chippewa County. There have been 33 deaths because of the virus.
On Tuesday, it was reported by the Chippewa County Health Department that 2,186 people have recovered.
Compared to last week’s totals, there had been 1,038 confirmed cases, 1,363 probable cases and 32 deaths due to COVID-19 in Chippewa County. Per the health department, 2,093 people had recovered from the virus.
