Brisbane millionaire choppers and changes private helipad plan

Brisbane millionaire choppers and changes private helipad plan Normal text size Advertisement A Brisbane millionaire who won council approval for a helipad at his multimillion-dollar mansion two years ago has now decided not to go ahead with a tunnel linking the house and helipad for inclement weather . Johann Bell bought the Rochedale mansion in 2017 for $5.2 million. Later that year, he lodged an application with Brisbane City Council for a helipad and hangar at the back of the house for private access. The original proposal for the helipad and hangar at the Rochedale mansion was approved in 2018. Plan for extra five storeys lands Kangaroo Point development in court

Plan for extra five storeys lands Kangaroo Point development in court Plan for extra five storeys lands Kangaroo Point development in court Normal text size Advertisement A controversial 15-storey Kangaroo Point development rejected by Brisbane City Council a week ago has gone to court. The 108 Lambert Street development was approved in July for three 10-storey apartment towers, despite strong opposition from residents who said it was oversized and inappropriate for the densely-developed suburb. The proposed three-tower, 15-storey apartment development on 108 Lambert Street, Kangaroo Point, was rejected by the council. But the developers made a further submission to the council in September requesting approval to heighten the three apartment towers to 15 storeys.
