Voice is heard. Protesters held their own socalled meeting after Council Members adjourned and left the room. Certainly people have different styles and tactics. The issue was over this vacant lot on 12th street near lake merritt. They were going to vote on whether to sell it to condo developers. Protesters are celebrating and for one of them, the effort was worth missing the warriors game. We were waiting our whole lives to see the warriors do this well. We will have a chance to see more warriors going forward. As for any arrests, there were none. As for crowds we deal with, this is one of the most peaceful ones we will encounter. State water resource control board announced today that people conserve less than 4 percent in march. Thats in comparison to the 22 percent conserved in december. Governor target is 25 state wide. Today the water board set new target for Water District throughout the state. Some as high as 36 percent. All really depend on where you live and how much the community has already saved.
