Variety donates more than $37K for Broadlawns pediatric clinic improvements
BY BUSINESS RECORD STAFF Monday, May 10, 2021 10:54 AM Variety – the Children’s Charity gave $37,584 to the Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation to support enhancements for the Broadlawns Variety – the Children’s Charity Pediatric Clinic, which provides care for more than 5,500 children annually. Variety’s gift provided funding for equipment and furnishings for the pediatric clinic’s waiting area and eight exam rooms. The funding also allowed for the purchase of state-of-the-art vision and hearing screening equipment to provide early detection of deficiencies, as children are more responsive to treatment at an early age. “The respective missions of Broadlawns and Variety are very closely aligned as both of our organizations are dedicated to furthering access to health care for children who are vulnerable and in need of care,” said Katie Wengert, Broadlawns�
