It shouldn’t factor into what they do with the No. 26 overall pick, both Mary Kay Cabot and Dan Labbe agreed earlier this week in the Orange and Brown Talk podcast.
The draft is two weeks away and begins at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 29 in Cleveland with the first round (ESPN and NFL Network will carry television broadcasts). The second and third rounds follow on April 30 and the fourth through seventh rounds are May 1.

CLEVELAND, Ohio How quickly things can change in the NFL. The Browns ended the 2019 season in disarray, appearing rudderless as the Haslams parted ways with the second one-and-done coach during their relatively brief tenure as owners and, a few days later, parted ways with GM John Dorsey.
Kevin Stefanski, who lost out on the job prior to 2019, was hired in 2020 and, all of a sudden, in concert with Paul DePodesta and Andrew Berry, stabilized the team and guided it through a pandemic season, leading the Browns to their first playoff appearance since 2002 and their first playoff victory since 1994.
