And have been the executive director of Progress Iowa since it started in spring of 2012, and what we do is we work to advocate for progressive issues all across the board, whether thats in the state legislature, whether thats in congress, but really our focus is on pushing for Progressive Solutions to Public Policy problems and getting iowans involved in the process. So a lot of what we deuce taking is helping people take action, signing online petitions which then send an email or contact their local elected official or in this case, this week, their federal elected official.
