Award-winning journalist and former NBC News Network anchor Ann Curry received the Edward R. Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award in Broadcast Journalism at Washington State University’s 46th annual Murrow Symposium.

This year’s event on April 5–6 focuses on advocating for under-represented groups and features 24 sessions of panel discussions, workshops, and keynote speakers, including award-winning journalist Ann Curry.

Curry will be a keynote speaker for the 46th Murrow Symposium, where she will receive the Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award in Journalism.

For more than 30 years, Curry has focused on human suffering in war zones and natural disasters through her work as an American journalist, photojournalist, and reporter.
