Man pleads guilty to murder of former Bellator fighter Isaiah Chapman

Akron Beacon JournalChristopher Blouir, 30, has plead guilty to murdering former Bellator fighter Isaiah Chapman. Chapman was shot and killed outside of his home in Akron on April 7, 2020. Chapman was 30-years-old.
Blouir, who was arrested shortly after the shooting, is expected to be sentenced in June. Initially Blouir was charged with aggravated murder, two counts of murder, felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon. He plead guilty to all charges minus one of the murder counts.
In Ohio, aggravated murder carries the possibility of a life sentence.
