Ireland's newest citizens undertook to faithfully observe the laws of the State and to respect its democratic values during three ceremonies in Dublin.

Ireland’s newest citizens come from 131 countries across the globe and are living across the 32 counties of Ireland.

The town of Listowel -- home to fewer than 5,000 people -- is attempting to set a world record for the biggest gathering of Dolly Partons in a public space. Tickets for todays event, which is also a charity fundraiser, cost $33 and include a blonde wig.

"We want to bring people in and get them talking and reading, as well as doing things like combatting loneliness and creating excitement around books."
