On Tuesday, voters will determine the future of a West Glenwood property annex and whether to add language to the Glenwood Springs city charter protecting the municipal airport.

A special election May 3 could determine whether a resident-initiated petition adds new language to the Glenwood Springs city charter, protecting the Glenwood Springs Municipal Airport from significant changes without voter approval.

Glenwood Springs mailed ballots to registered voters within the city Monday for the upcoming May 3 special election, City Clerk Ryan Muse said.
