Truck. we cant see in front of the truck but we know thats where they are. the question for you is -- and im not trying to decipher who did what or why because from mr. bryans perspective, it doesnt matter. it does for yours, but for mr. bryans perspective, it doesnt matter. but mr. arberys decision at that last moment to turn left instead of right as mr. bryan would have expected. you can tell from the way hes angling his phone, anticipating mr. arberys path of travel. when mr. arbery turns to ...

Different story and a different truth. mr. bryan says, im going to keep going. hes put the car in gear. but if you watch, youll see mr. bryan isnt going back towards mr. arbery, hes not going back toward the mcmichaels, hes going in the opposite direction and he starts at a high rate of speed. you can hear the traction of the wheels. now, you cant see yet, but hes not moving towards mr. arbery, hes moving away, and youll see why in a moment. now, here you can see the speedometer is -- at this po...

Not, hey, travis, i need to call 911, that guy is outside. lets get our guns and lets jump in the truck. encouraging. advising. cut him off, cut him off, cut him off! thats what greg mcmichael said. so thats what weve got. ladies and gentlemen, how do you really want to think about this? everybody gets a super bowl ring, right? the quarterback gets a super bowl ring, the guys on the field get a super bowl ring, the dude on the bench gets a super bowl ring, right? everybody is involved. everybody...

Retired law enforcement officers just as it applies to anybody. in other words, the reasonable standard is set by society. you all decide whether this was reasonable or not. travis mcmichaels belief he had to defend himself with lethal force has to be reasonable. so weve got pointing a shotgun at mr. arbery when hes yards and yards away. had to be reasonable and necessary. but where is the imminent use of unlawful force by mr. arbery? what was he doing? hes running away from mr. bryans truck. mr...

Isnt there for roddy bryan. its not there for these other defendants. its there for all of us, and its a principle that we cannot forsake. the court is going to charge you, i believe, without trying to put words in its mouth, on parties to a crime. the provision thats relevant to mr. bryan in this case is the second one. to be a party to a crime, mr. bryan must intentionally help in the commission of an offense of a crime. mr. bryan cannot be a party to a crime by accident. he can only be a part...

I would submit to you, he cant know until mr. arberys actually shot. and at that point, what could roddie bryan do to stop this tragic shooting. the state has thrown out all kinds of theories. he could have honked his horn. he could have gone to the left. he could have gone to the right. he should have backed up. well, obviously, if mr. bryan saw a shotgun pointing down the street in his direction, he probably would have at least ducked. but he doesnt do that because roddie bryan cant see the gu...

Now, im going to suggest to you, and you will have to decide what the truth is here that when mr. bryan says he called out to them, did he? do you see that on either of these videos? do you see it on the third one to come? again, is mr. bryan relating what actually happened or what he thinks has happened? is mr. bryans mind playing tricks on him? in any event, mr. arbery goes down the street. mr. bryan -- at this point were going to go to the next night owl video. sorry, you went too quickly.

That you heard testify, all interview mr. bryan. all of them have written summaries of their reports. i went through the five-page version of mr. seacrest. the versions of the other officers. not the transcripts. but their actual summaries. three police officers who know exactly what they are doing, interview mr. bryan. none of them interpret his words to suggest that he committed an aggravated assault. none of them interpreted his words to suggest that he was involved in any false imprisonment....

To the shooting, not mr. albenzi, not gregory, or travis mcmichael. at times mr. bryan feels like hes alone out there with mr. arbery, and it scares him. he doesnt see any guns until moments before the shooting. well come back to that. i think if i recall correctly, the testimony was although you can see and you will see in a moment, greg mcmichael standing in the back of the pickup truck in the moments before the shooting, mr. bryan on that day, doesnt even recall gregory mcmichael being in the...

Would shoot mr. arbery? i would submit to you he cant know until mr. arbery is shot. and at that point, what could roddy bryan do to stop this tragic shooting? the state has thrown out all kinds of theories. he could have honked his horn. he could have gone to the left or right, should have backed up. obviously if mr. bryan saw a shotgun pointing down the street, he probably would have ducked. he doesnt do that. because roddy bryan cant see the gun. when the state tells you that he was hunting m...
