Would-be thief tries to open cars in Glasgow s Garnethill

THIS is the moment a would-be thief brazenly tries door handles of cars in a late night robbery attempt. A quick thinking local resident grabbed her phone and started filming when she spotted the man around 11pm in Garnethill. This video footage shows a man, dressed in black, just after walking west down Buccleuch Lane appearing to try to open car doors. He then turns and walks north down Scott Street, where the footage begins, crossing West Graham Street towards Shamrock Street. Then he turns out of sight. Bill Beckett, of Garnethill neighborhood watch (GNW), said: I m glad the community are being more vigilant these days as this can be very helpful in reducing crime within the community.
