correspondent dana bash follows that part of the story. who are lawmakers hearing from? reporter: well, will they re hearing from members of the capitol police force, from the house sergeant in arms. there was a briefing this morning for house republicans and democrats are getting their own briefing. it s kind of a real odd mix here because on the floor of the house, the lawmakers are paying tribute to gabby giffords, to people who lost their lives. but behind closed door, they re trying to figure out how this they can better secure themselves. and bud mckee on talked to deidre walsh and explained some of how they might be able to figure out how to tighten security. listen. we ll set up a local coordinator that they re recommending and we ll have our staff take care of that. and what they re asking is that if something happens, you call the local law enforcement, that
