Aged care reform remains unfinished business for Labor. It made a start this week but more needs to come.

The PM of 2019 could have won with this budget – he still can, but now he has three years of baggage to carry

The Labor Party has released its reply to the Federal Budget, pledging an extra $2.5 billion to the aged care sector and promising to fix the ongoing issues plaguing the industry.

The Labor leader has promised a boost to pay packets, an overhaul of aged care, new  infrastructure and cheaper childcare in his quest to voted in as Australias next Prime Minister. 

Anthony Albanese has delivered his Budget Reply.

On Friday morning, Karl Stefanovic and couldnt get a straight answer from the Labor leader about whether working Australians would pay more under his government.

The lack of major changes for financial planners are a “reasonably positive” development, according to the Financial Planning Association of Australia, while technology measures have also been welcomed by the industry.

Actually, that’s a slight understatement. I  really like it.
