The Buffalo Grove Fire Department is investigating the cause of a blaze that broke out in a semi-tractor trailer truck Friday afternoon that was on The Clove construction site in the northwest suburb. The Clove is a sprawling $150 million redevelopment being built that is planned to include 297 luxury residences, retail and dining establishments, and park space. Palatine could soon have Georgia on its mind. A Georgian-style restaurant - Georgia the country, not state - forced to move because of the redevelopment of the Buffalo Grove Town Center is planning a new home at 1280 E. Dundee Road in Palatine.
Sushi Grove, 154 McHenry Road, in Buffalo Grove s Town Center, announced it will be closing, but plans to move near Giordano s, 270 McHenry Road, when the shopping center reopens as The Clove.
