Reporter dawn, state police now say a 42yearold philadelphia man was shot once in the head while he was driving his car on the schuylkill expressway right around 6 00 oclock tonight according to the state police the shooter was his son sitting in the back seat. And tonight that 42yearold father is in critical but stable condition at a local hospital. His 22yearold son is in custody here at the belmont state police barracks. A white Buick Lacrosse carrying several family members stopped dolled cold in the left lane after a shooting incident. State troopers raced to the scene and blocked traffic backing up the end of rush hour westbound for miles. State police described this as a domestic incident. One person reported to be the father was shot and taken from the seen to the hospital in stable condition. A 22yearold man was taken into custody and transported to the state police belmont barracks. State Police Crime Scene experts arrived to process the shooting scene as drivers waited in their car for the seen to be cleared.
