I am erin. I am a neighbor of the project. I live directly next door. I wonder if you can just i can show you. Please speak into the microphone. Sorry. I am short. That is my house and the red dot is their house. I live directly next door which i think is fairly relevant here because i want to share my enthusiastic support for the project and the people next door share my view. It is a good project for the community. It will make it easier for the mcgraths to raise kids in San Francisco which is hard enough. Third reason many of my neighbors are in support of it. I have taken a look at the plans, and, of course, i will be impacted by construction and the building itself. Thank you, maam, your time is up. Sorry the opposition got five minutes and the rest of us did not. That is not fair. Next speaker, please. I am pat. 2008 my partner and myself bought two rundown units on ord and fixed them up. One historic. We didnt need to make it huge. The last 10 years is the block to make huge hou
Residential building at 399 free monfreemont and a portion is sitting empty everyday. Because of the configuration of the garage and the fact that it of course tends underground, it really isnt feasible to convert in unused space to, for example, residential uses or any other active uses. For reference, udr is proposing to convert a portion of the parking garage at another one of its buildings, directly adjacent to this one throug to add to thg garage area but thats not feasible here. So the sponsor would like to put this garage to better use by making about 30 Spaces Available to the public and relieving some of the unmet demand for parking in the hill neighborhood. The Planning Commission has previously approved similar nonaccessory parking uses for udrs buildings at 388 beil, and the sponsor worked with pdi to oversee the operations, manage reservations, collect revenue and ensure tax payments are made to the city and they propose for the past successful relationship with p ci, as w
Pressman ship. Thank you very much. Next speaker, please. Good afternoon. My name is andy levine. I am an architect, i live in the 400 block of 29th street, three doors down from the property. My family has lived there for 22 years now, and we have been very excited that theres to be a project to take away this abandoned building that is more than 20 years that has been empty. We saw the drawings for the project, for the first time last wednesday. It was not mailed out, as part of the 311 process because of the conditional use area i left a message for mr. Townes, he did not call me back. We left an email, week later he replied to the email. It turns out they were the wrong drawings area their outdated drawings area he sent us updated drawings, they are very close. So, for the last week it has been a hectic time to try to elicit a response from the neighbors to talk about what we thought the project was good or bad. In the process, i did send to the commission the petition that we have
Thank you. Welcome, Vice President. So now we are moving on. As i mentioned before, were going to have a slight change in the order. The parties for item number 11, this is appeal number 19016 have come to an agreement and they would like to address the board on this agreement. This is Andrew Rabinovich and irina strigo opposing the department of building inspection. This is for 157 marview way. This is appealing the issuance of march 6, 2019, to Andrew Rabinovich of an alteration permit to memorialise the replacement of the exterior facade from existing siding and also replacement of the garage door with new glass rollup garage door. So the subject permit that is before you for 157 marview way is the result of an enforcement action for work on the facade that was done without benefit of the permit and the permit is attempting to correct that. I wont go into full consideration of the boards calendar, but we have reached a compromise agreement on a project that may move forward. I have
Our sustainability plan has all of the sustainability plan for the project and targets we intend to hit and we look forward as our grid continues to green and improve. I think a passive house would go beyond that. At a minimum, it might be interesting for you folks to consider whether you create a passive house at your proposed hotel. Well look into it before the next meeting. Commissioner hillis. Thank you for the presentation. Its always good to, i think, hear about this project i think i think its testament to what youve all done in meeting some of the community request and just developing a project that i think works great on this site. Its a mas massive site. Were getting a ton of Affordable Housing and the amount youre providing on a site not owned by the city, thats privately owned. So i mean, i think its a wonderful project. Its great for this neighborhood and this site to reuse it in this fashion. 30 Affordable Housing, the open space and Community Benefits are somewhat unprec
