You stated that the permit was improperly issued . Correct. Secondly, we heard mr. Curran talk about while this window open into the neighbors Property Line, does this set up automatically the opportunity for notice of violation . It has been discovered that theres a window that is not exactly legal because it goes into the neighbors Property Line without permission . That specific issue is not addressed in the planning code. I should ask mr. Curran and the next part, whether that would narrate a notice of violation as recently discovered is a win toe that windows that opens across the Property Line. Correct. From taur perspective, we dont address that situation. If we did if it was legally done, now its not conforming to the code, that would not be a violation. It would be allowed to stay that way. I cant speak to the Building Code. Thank you very much. We have lots of questions for you. Welcome back. Thank you. Is there any Public Comment on this item. Please approach. Good evening a
Hi, im jennifer fever with the San Francisco tenants union. So the easiest way to protect tenants and affordable rents to keep them housed in the first place. Its been a very frustrating few years for us. Weve had a bunch of tenants come to us worried about losing their homes during extensive renovations. So we started experimenting with filing d. R. S and weve learned a lot about the Planning Department and their process. Most surprising to me the planning staff had no directive to consider how permits affect existing tenants. The planning code is written so narrowly, they can claim to have hamstrung rather than considering humans in their plans. Tenants are 65 of the population. We should matter. I challenge the architects in this room to hold the public forum about their role in our displacement. Surely you can see how this system can be abused by speculators, looking for any way to get rid of rentcontrolled tenants and avoid compensating them. I support the legislation for the tena

And probably make your life a lot more friendly with them. Did you have a second question . I want clarification on one thing. Thank you very much for volunteering that the privacy screen will be more elaborate with opaque windows. It was it was mentioned three property lines and one is scheduled to be opaque at this point. An i am trying to make issues go away for you. An appreciate that. Perhaps i could answer in rebuttal. Sure. Thank you. Give my client a chance to confirm. Sure. Thanks very much. Okay. Give them a moment, i guess. No, they will do in it rebuttal. They volunteered to address it in rebuttal. Lets let mr. Current speak first. Did you have questions you wante
