The intensity of questions surrounding the Jose Garcia Zarate murder trial verdict have shifted in day two from what will he get to who will get him once zarate concludes his sentence on felony weapons possession. Ac sanctuary city doesnt mean we defy federal law we have simply chosen not to cooperate with the authorities beyond what the law requires. The law in this case requires zarate be transfer intoed federal custody once his firearm z sentence is dolled out and done. The Sheriffs Department said in part said it confirmed a federal criminal warrant and once he is eligible to be released. San francisco Sheriffs Department will notify the u. S. Marshal pursuant to the criminal warrant. This is the arrest warrant. Unsealed today by a texas judge and issued right after zarate 2015 arrest. It finds him in violation of parole supervision and demands compliance for socalled sanctuary cities and it comes to light with federal charges against zarate. I think its important for the u. S. Att

Commission about getting involved in or making a condition of approval a private agreement among or between private parties. And so to make a private agreement a condition of approval for the commission is often fraught with legal difficulties. One other thought i had, and perhaps this is where commissioner johnson was going with the Development Agreement thought is that there are other circumstances in which the city establishes an Optin Program. Maybe home sf is an example, that a developer may choose to avail themselves of a particular set of benefits that the city offers in return for which the developer may offer more than is otherwise sort of the baseline requirements, so there are other mechanisms that the city could use and other circumstances where the city could have these additional requirements as part of sort of an Optin Program where a Development Gets a particular set of benefits from the city, and then, would agree to offer Additional Community types of benefits. The citys general plan and your priorities as the commission and currently a family of four lives there. The parents are immigrants from Central America and they have two young children, and and theres a history at this property of the current owner trying to force those tenants out and so i dont think that its an accident that the plan was to convert their one bedroom into a studio and make it impossible for them to live there. So one thing i wanted to bring up was that when and if the permit is approved, the tenants will be displaced temporarily and i wanted im not sure how its possible, but to minimize the dislocation of those tenants during that process because the the rent ordinance requires payment of relocation money for three months, and they dont get additional money if theyre out of the apartment beyond those three months. Okay. Thats all i had to say. Thank you. Vice president richards thank you. Project sponsor, you have im sorry, Public Comment in support does your [ inaud
