Allowing office and landmarks is for its to retrofit but this market is through the economic downturn so that isnt the spirit of code it isnt the spirit of landmarked legislation. I agree there, there has been an loophole and i look forward to closing that loophole to modify this parking lot part of the code and critiquing create a carrot that the Building Developers will create for pdr space. Ive expressed my discomfortable Public Library and prifg with the thought of occasional obligating the Previous Office space were not talking about one building ladies and gentlemen, but a total of 15 and so the approach here is one of surgical precision you cant take a sledgehammer to cover everything. I do believe the building is beautiful and deserves landmark states, however, the decision is not about the designation of the building. I know its the project sponsors thought to convert this to office space and many of the folks came into the Public Comment referenced were Building Office space.

Hi, im greg scott pr im in support of project from a number of perspectives one of being a katrero residents and oath being an architect in the dog patch and a professor of architect at California College of the arts. I think for one of the many buildings ive seen put up foyer prospective landmarking this one seems worthy of that designation in terms of its substance and merits becoming designated a landmark. But the conversation of interest from what i understand some remaining pdr use on the ground floor level it what ive heard is part of the plan would be the best of both worlds in terms of this coming together with the new and old economy of all the Tech Companies penn truce seems well sited to add life let alone an economic injection to the district that is by no means public of those buildings in terms of who is able to go into them. I believe that that kind of thing that the building is considered a highend showroom would be countered
