Community push back for the route would it come to the board . My biggest concern was not so much in delegating authority as much as hanging staff out to dry. I feel more comfortable that it comes to the board so the public can hear our reasoning and understand why we support something. I think the com the compromise f allowing the delegation of authorities if it looks controversial but is important enough to pursue that it come back to the board for our input. A grant vicki, the protest has just about wrapped up the protesters making their way down court street that scene behind me here with the black lives barrel on the black lives matter mural in martinez they had they were heading down to the marina area. There was a lot of anticipation that was building up to this event be. Town was pretty much bracing for thousands of people here to show up out of there was hundreds of people that showed up here and businesses also boarded up but as police stood by and watched what was happening. The protests remained peaceful. Hundreds of people make their way down court street waving signs and chanting for racial equality, the demonstration taking place where a man and woman recently defaced a black lives matter mural thats the disgraced that were out here fighting against this White Supremacy and White Supremacy in a to white people and this is unfortunate that this is where we still are in america, but we have to do what we have to do them.
