Originally over at sixth and g street. This is the third time the building has been moved. In 1969, the building was taken off of its foundation. They took off some of the first floor. They made it easier for us to move down to the museum site. They have lifted it up on some steel beams. They put wheels underneath the steel beams. They used a Remote Control system to roll it down the street very slowly. It will take it a few hours to get it one block down. Why is it being moved . The first time the building moved was for progress downtown. The metro headquarters was getting built. Metro displaced this little building and moved it to the new site here. The Jewish Historical Society has done a number of weddings thebar mitzvahs in synagogue, but it is not used as a traditional synagogue, it is more for special events. This really grew from just an idea that lisa had to maybe just do a little talk on flag day and then we realized that in fact there were three flags being stored here and one in the collection of the museum of the American Revolution two that are the property of an anonymous, very generous owner and lender who has consented to have them on display for this afternoon. So this is an extraordinary opportunity. Im not sure there is anywhere else on the planet why you can stand in the room and be in the presence of three banners of liberty from the American Revolution. Construction. We have some this morning along 580. Westbound between 35th of and grand avenue until 5 30. Also various lanes blocked eastbound 580 to 980 ramp. 24 construction until 5 00. No accidents so far. A terrifying discovery in a bay area marshland. Coroners were called to inspect a womans dismembered body there. A fisherman found the torso monday night and now officers are carrying out a suspicious Death Investigation on part of the marshlands road. Our crews caught sight of them combing the shore and the coroner arriving last night. Locals say the area is a popular workout spot and they say they have never sensed trouble there before. Its been fine. Yeah. Every now and then a skunk or goose but no no bad people. For now, the police arent sure how long that body was in the water. And just the day before those remains were discovered, police found another body in fremont off Morrison Canyon road 22 yearold stacey redman. The san jose woman was shot to death. Fishermen announced what Fremont Police say today was a womans torso. That sounds nasty, yeah. Im just in shock. Because its close to home. Reporter stephanie works not far from what has now become a crime scene. The torso was found all by itself. The arms, legs, and head of the body havent been found. Police say they were severed from the torso. A lot of people, i mean, they walk here alone and bike ride here alone. And then, so, i think that people should be, just, buddium is it.
