Both say the fighting in ukraine must end but there are differences, how that should end. Merkel was at the warehouse Jamie Mcintire is at the white house. Angela merkel says, that sending arms to ukraine would make things worse, president obama says that although it might not necessarily make things worse it could save lives as the Peace Process plays out.
