According to Jacaranda FM News, the bullying was captured on a video that made the rounds on social media on Tuesday. The girl is believed to have subsequently committed suicide.

The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) in Limpopo will visit Mbilwi Secondary School in Thohoyandou on Wednesday.

The visit follows the death of a Grade 10 pupil who was the victim of bullying at the school.
The bullying was captured on a video which made the rounds on social media on Tuesday.
The girl is believed to subsequently have committed suicide.
“The commission underscores the importance of section 28 of the Constitution which determines that the best interests of children are considered paramount in all matters considering them,” the commission said in a statement.
The
East Coast Radio News Watch Team reported that in a statement, the Department of Education in Limpopo confirmed the incident took place at the school on Monday. In the video, other learners can be heard in the background cheering the perpetrator, who is also a Grade 10 female learner.
