Classic Answer Man: Library expansion ever coming to East Asheville?
Here s today s burning question, my smart-aleck response and the real deal. Enjoy!
Question: I am curious to note if the good residents and readers of East Asheville will ever get a larger and modern library (that s not attached to a fire department), like each of the other sections of Asheville. East Asheville always seems to be the stepchild when it comes to anything new coming its way.
My answer: If you don t watch your step, young man, the powers that be might just take away that paltry library you ve got now and replace it with a 1952 Bookmobile with an oil leak and 6,000 copies of Robinson Crusoe. Now eat your porridge and hush up!
