Devil May Care, a West Sac ice cream shop known for its inventive flavors, is holding a soft open for its new downtown Sacramento location at 710 K St.
The four-year-old company makes handcrafted, small-batch ice cream using high-quality, local ingredients. Flavors, which rotate, include crunchy salted peanut butter, strawberry caramel rocky road, malted cookies and cream, toasted marshmallow and lavender-honey-bee pollen. Charming Leprechaun is cereal milk ice cream with marshmallow charms; Peanut Butter Junk Food is peanut butter ice cream swirled with bits of peanut butter cups, peanut butter sandwich cookies and Reese’s Pieces. There are also vegan options, including vegan chocolate ice cream and Mangonada sorbet, a mango sorbet swirled with Tajín Chamoy, a Mexican sweet chili sauce.
