LITCHFIELD - Two hundred and forty-two days, 258,464 math hours, 721,926 lessons completed, 21.2 million complex math problems solved, and the Year-End Michigan Math Cup championship went to Litchfield Elementary School.
Superintendent Mike Corey said the school is the 2020 Michigan Math Cup State Champion and the school is etched in Imagine Math history. Students in grades K-7 are participating in the program again this year.
The school received a $250 Amazon e-gift card in January and the Michigan Math Cup trophy is for accomplishment during the 2019-20 school year. The Imagine Math program is an online practice3 program that students work on throughout the year.
