Its a transformer fire, were told. This is on the grounds of rfk stadiums parking lot as those rails go underground it wasnt on the rail, but it did affect rail service. We understand no one was injured. Firefighters were on the scene. They had to get under the tracks and get to that transformer to put that fire out. The affect is being felt all over the system. The orange line, all services is suspended between Eastern Market and minnesota avenue. You will find buses on either end of those stations to get to you your destination, get you on the other side of the closed stations. The silver line, service is suspended between Eastern Market and bening road. B buses on either end. The blue line, buses running from franconia to rose rosalyn.
