Hundreds flocked to the campus lawn at McPherson College on Saturday to view 250 vehicles at the annual C.A.R.S. Club Motoring Festival. While on a smaller scale than at previous events, there was a considerable turnout. Refreshments were available, the McPherson College jazz band played, and spectators voted for Student’s Choice and People’s Choice of best car.   C.A.R.S. member and freshman Austin Cooper was one of the student judges. He has loved cars for all his life and said he loved McPherson’s notoriety as the only school with such a unique automotive program that allows events such as the car show to happen.
