Nesting Peregrine falcons inside Zion National Park prompted officials to announce they would close some of the park’s popular rock climbing spots.

Zion National Park announced new measures to help protect the Peregrine Falcons nesting season from human-caused disturbances, which would lead a pair to abandon their nest until next year, according to Mondays press release.
