CADILLAC â From today until the end of the week, residents of Cadillac can put their Christmas trees out by the curb along with the rest of their trash.
Ken Payne, city of Cadillac Department of Public Works operations manager, said before putting out their trees, residents should remove lights, stands, and have the butt end facing the street.
Christmas tree pickup in Cadillac will continue through Friday.
Other municipalities may also offer tree pickup as a part of their waste collection service. Residents should contact their local government office or recycling pickup provider to find out. It is also permissible to take trees directly to the landfill.
