Cafe Turtle reopened on February 5th, 2021. It decided to pull down its shutters in June, last year, amidst the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.
It closed down in June last year due to Coronavirus uncertainties.

Delhi's popular bookstore-cum-cafe, Full Circle & Cafe Turtle is back again to satiate every book lover's desire with a cup of freshly-brewed coffee and some great books to read. After pulling down its shutters in June 2020 amidst the uncertainties of Coronavirus crisis, the book cafe in Khan Market reopened its doors for the customers on February 5, just by the side of its original location. They took to their Instagram handle to announce the news and wrote alongside, "We are so happy to be back home, Khan Market! We look forward to welcoming you at your favourite place."

When Cafe Turtle — part of Full Circle Bookstore enterprise — announced the closing down of its Khan Market outlet in the middle of the pandemic in June, it was just the beginning of a series of closures that followed — from Smoke House Deli to China Fare.
At Connaught Place, newly-opened Japanese restaurant Fuji and Garam Dharam also beat a hasty retreat owing to huge rentals and almost zero sales. Insiders predicted that more than 40 per cent restaurants in Delhi-NCR will be shut eventually.
