The following message, signed by Cal Poly Humboldt President Tom Jackson, Jr., and several high-ranking members of his administration, was shared today with the campus community:

Keith Flamer, president of the College of the Redwoods has written a letter to President Joe Biden calling for a cease-fire amid the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. Flamer emphasized the loss of human life in the conflict.

Wednesday morning, police continued to guard every entrance to Cal Poly Humboldt. Police refused access to the campus to the Times-Standard following a crackdown on a week-long occupation of the quad area, with 25 protesters being arrested by riot police early Tuesday morning and 6 more later in the day.

"The unlawful actions that took place this past week stand in contrast to our values and beliefs—and can never happen again."

Over 30 pro-Palestinian protestors, students and non-students, were arrested early Tuesday morning.
