Twelve areas of Merseyside where coronavirus levels are 'suppressed'

Twelve areas of Merseyside where coronavirus levels are 'suppressed' It doesn't mean they're free of Covid but levels in these areas extremely low 07:00, 2 MAR 2021 Updated Twelve Merseyside areas currently have “suppressed” coronavirus infections. It comes as coronavirus levels continue to drop across Merseyside, though levels remain high. The NHS breaks down coronavirus rates to a neighbourhood level, with 181 areas across Merseyside. An area is categorised as having “suppressed” the virus when no more than three cases have been recorded there in the previous seven days. It therefore does not mean that the area is entirely Covid-free, but there is an extremely low level of infection.
