SF73 passed in the Senate on a close vote but was effectively killed in the House Transportation, Highways, and Military Affairs Committee. Proponent and a sponsor of the bill, Cale Case attempted to sway members of the House Committee by suggesting establishing a toll road would create a substantial revenue stream in future years.
