I want to commend to make this happen. Certainly a for effort. Ive listened to zooms, my own kids. Everyone is leaning in and really trying to make being in a place where 97 of our schools are opening in Distance Learning, theyre really trying to work. I would say that there are definitely some challenges that have not cooperated and my heart goes out, at one point, asked the remaining 30,000 students who opened in Distance Learning but yet, they big challenges in Northern California and other parts of the state but everyone is leaning in to make this work. I hear teachers with great content. I think this is really hard. Nothing about this that is easy but i have to commend those students and educators and school staff and families who are just leaning in, trying to make the most of the situation that were in. Strikes. Look at that picture. Now, lets go back for 24 hours or so to sunday night, and look at this. Now, this is something ive never seen before in the bay area. Okay. Here comes the first wave. And then you keep going. 7 00 a. M. These are lined strikes, many cloudtoground, and then you get into sunday morning . Look at this. Okay. Then we get into the afternoon. It brakes off a little bit. Lightningsparked fires. One is he hennessy fire, and by midafternoon, it had already consumed 750 acres, according to a spokesman for cal fire. While cal fire isnt a cant say for certain it, too, was caused by a strike from the key, the flames did start during a storm. An Evacuation Order has been issued. Theres 20 residents, but theres a number of residents below that Hennessy Ridge road. Reporter it affects those who live at Hennessy Ridge road and sage canyon road from childs pope valley rode to lower childs road. Close by neighborhoods are also under evacuation warnings, standing by just in case. As of right now, we do have resources on these fires, and then using those aircraft with weather permits.
