Kids organise skate comp There was a good turnout despite a delay due to weather The inaugural Leigh Skate Competition was held this month thanks to the initiative of local children. It was organised by Joe Haggitt, 11, Calla Shears, 10 and Tommy Birch, 9, with a “bit of help” from mum Kate Shears.
