The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defensive line is far from being a weakness, but there are concerns about depth and the future status of Ndamukong Suh and William Gholston who both enter 2021 with no contract beyond the season. We already looked at Tulane defensive lineman Cam Sample earlier, as well as another defensive player in Minnesota defensive back, Benjamin St-Juste. Last week I got a crack at the offense with Iowa wide receiver Brandon Smith, but it’s time for me to go back to defense,...

Whether or not Ohio State’s Justin Fields can effectively move through his progressions has been a hot debate in the draft community, one that has been impacted by a discussion of how quarterbacks are evaluated and whether or not race plays a role consciously or subconsciously. The most common criticism of Fields seems to be that he cannot move beyond the first read and stares down his primary receiver — the first weakness listed in D...

My first two contributions to this year’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers draft profile series have come on the defensive side of the ball. First, there was Tulane defensive lineman Cam Sample followed by Minnesota defensive back, Benjamin St-Juste. Today, I get my first crack at the offensive side of the ball with Iowa wide receiver, Brandon Smith. Previously in this series I took a look at Tulane defensive lineman Cam Sample wondering how he might fit in with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Today, we’re staying on defense, but shifting to the secondary as we hone in on Minnesota Golden Gophers defensive back, Benjamin St-Juste. BENJAMIN ST-JUSTE COLLEGIATE CAREER The 6’3 defensive back joined Michigan’s football program after being a four-star recruit coming out of high school in Montreal. Ranked as the top player in Quebec, St-Juste pla...

My Favorite Draft Prospects: Part 1 By George Forder  @GeorgeForder3 on Feb 20, 2021, 9:30am EST + Anyone who watches a decent amount of film or pays attention to the draft ends up favoring some prospects over all others. They are what I would refer to as "my guys." It doesnt mean I would move heaven and earth to draft them, but it means that I would always be cognizant of their availability when my pick came up in the draft. These arent one through five on my big...

The 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl took place in Mobile, Alabama, to spark a much-anticipated draft season. The final head coaching vacancy was filled when the Texans hired Baltimore assistant head coach and passing games coordinator David Culley. Both very big deals in their own right, but the most interesting news has to be what the R...
