Vancouver Public Schools has narrowed its search to two finalists, one of whom may be offered the job as soon as next week.
The finalists are Camas School District Superintendent Jeff Snell and Kenneth (Chris) Hurst, superintendent of the Othello School District in Adams County.
The two finalists were among four semifinalists who made virtual visits to the district last week, where they talked online to teachers, students, parents and other members of the school community.

Gov. Jay Inslee will hold a press conference today at 2:30 p.m. Among the officials joining him will be Camas School District Superintendent Jeff Snell.
The governor will give an update on the state’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and provide new guidance around schools, according to a Wednesday morning press release.
