Two Maryland residents are facing felony drug charges a year and a half after being stopped by a State Highway Patrol trooper on Interstate 70 in Guernsey County.
Allison Hoyt, 22, faces one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, while Caroline S. Spillane, 22, is charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, as the result of bills of information filed Wednesday in the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court.
The bills of information against the Bethesda residents were filed by prosecutors nine days after they dismissed identical charges filed in the Cambridge Municipal Court on Feb. 8.
