The 2021 NFL Draft is just hours away now, and the New York Giants enter the weekend with six picks at their disposal. There are obviously a number of ways the draft could play out, but if the Giants are looking to build around Daniel Jones, then you might want to check out a piece from yesterday much like this one, looking at options for the Giants at every spot in the dra...

Playing the value: Carlos Basham at 44 or Cameron Sample at 138 for the Cowboys in the 2021 draft Which pick holds more value for the Cowboys? Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images One the greatest things about the NFL Draft is how much value comes into play. Whether it’s positional value or round value, winning the NFL Draft all comes from getting value in your selections. The Cowboys are likely discussing that now in their pre-draft meetings and figuring out what positions and/or players the...

In an open letter to Les Snead, I just want to know, is it something I said? Does the mock draft machine not run to your liking? Les, tell me what you’re looking for in the draft experience so we can ge...

Apr 18, 2021 Attempting to sign J.J. Watt and then ultimately signing Clowney could be as simple as opportunities that presented themselves, but both players offered the Browns a couple key features that would be attractive given the defense they want to run. First, both have ability the length and size to protect the second level from blockers. The Browns plan to play smaller and faster at the second and third level, so having a defensive line that can protect them is critical. Additionally, b...

Postcards from the EDGE (Position) By TarkentonToJones on Apr 15, 2021, 6:25pm EDT + Most BBVers agree that EDGE is a big need for the Giants to complete the ascent of their D from laughingstock to top 5. The Giants currently have lots of question marks at EDGE, from the injury-interrupted trajectories of Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximines to the addition of an intriguing but relatively-unknown low cost option in Ifeadi Odenigbo. Despite their anonymous crew, the Giants did rank 12...

A dramatic change from the ‘open seas, smooth sailing’ success we enjoyed in 2019. Quarantined DC’s with plenty of time on their hands to dissect what our offense did well and how to make it harder for us, then giving us their focused attention and best game every week. A grind of a season, followed by the angst of losing a ‘grou...

Hey guys! First off I want to say what a pleasure it was to represent our team for this years SB Nation Mock Draft. I put weeks of time into this, watching film, scouting where I wanted to...

SB Nation 2021 Mock Draft Extravaganza - The WFT is nearly on the clock on Day 3! It’s almost time for the real thing! Until then, we get the next best thing. Photo by NFL via Getty Images Each year, just before the actual draft, enterprising individuals from various SBNation blogs take it upon themselves to organize a site-wide full mock draft, with (ideally) writers/posters from each of the team blogs picking on behalf of their team. This year, I will be picking on behalf of the Washington ...

New Mock, using PFN simulator again(better than Howie, again) By JumpBallSpecialist on Apr 4, 2021, 10:57am EDT + Round 1, pick 12: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama: @ options here, you had Smith or Jaycee Horn on the board, and while I think Horn is a top 5 player in the draft, Smith is just so good at the WR position that its not even funny. Smith may have a small frame, but Justin Jefferson was skinny too. Round 2, pick 37: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon: Was not a big fan of most of the pr...
