SEBRING – An 18-year-old Sebring resident is facing several obscenity charges after police say they found child pornography in his home.
Cameron Scmid, East Oregon Avenue, has been charged with 20 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, a fourth-degree felony after Sebring police seized items from his home in September and turned them over to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation for analysis, according to news partner WKBN-TV.
Sebring police were alerted by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Schmid was taken to the Mahoning County Jail. His bond was set at $80,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in Sebring court.
