Reporter police say that the home that was innedvaded and the home next door both had marijuana growing at them. In the home where the criminals stormed into, there were two small children sleeping. When armed men broke down the door before 1 00 this morning they got quits a surprise armed homeowner. During that exchange two suspects were shot and fled the scene. Reporter police put out an alert for officers to watch hospitals for the suspect vehicle. And an hour later a sheriffs deputy spotted it pulling into the Kaiser Permanente parking lot. The suspects barricaded them in the vehicle and refused to come out. He was convinced these were the suspects from the home invasion. Reporter the standoff lasted 30 minutes and then officers fired a tear gas canister into the truck. The 19yearold faces homicide charges. Police narrowed in on their suspect with this Surveillance Video. Police say ortiz used the victims credit card at a Convenience Store just two days after the murder. Heiser was found unconscious in his home one week ago. He died of blunt force trauma.
