Carolina deputies hold news conference after Savannah Childress found alive in Arkansas Share Updated: 3:03 PM CST Feb 22, 2021 WXII Share Updated: 3:03 PM CST Feb 22, 2021 Davidson County Sheriff s Office are holding a news conference Monday to discuss the case of missing 14-year-old Savannah Childress who vanished for about 10 days before she was found alive this past weekend in Arkansas.Deputies said they initiated an investigation into Childress disappearance on Feb. 11 after she was reported missing from her home on Canaan Church Road.Investigators said they discovered Childress had been using her Davidson County Schools-issued computer to communicate with multiple people on different online platforms, including one individual who was also talking to other girls in Alamance County.The Alamance County Sheriff s Office interviewed the other girls and found beneficial information about the suspect, 38-year-old William Ice, of Mercer C
