The ABC’s decision to “uncritically” celebrate underage drag queen Candy Featherbottom raises ethical questions about the sexualisation of children, according to The Advertiser’s Caleb Bond. “Drag is unquestionably sexual,” he said. “It is no place for a child.” Mr Bond pointed out the ABC ran this story without any criticism of whether it was right to allow a young boy to perform as a drag queen.
