CANTON – Taylor Park Beach will open this year, starting Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 29- Monday, May 31, according to Canton Recreation Department. It will be open weekends in June, and then full-time beginning Monday, June 28
Beach hours for the summer will be Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Swimming lessons for all levels will be offered at the Canton Central School pool during the month of July, between 8 and 11 a.m.

The Recreation Department welcomes applications for lifeguards and swim instructors. Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old and require Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Waterfront certification; swimming instructors require Basic Swim Instructor (BSI) and/or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.
