Burlington, IA- The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department will hold a public forum on Tuesday, August 17th, to receive public input on a new playground at Dankwardt Park. The public forum will be held from 5 to 7 PM at the current playground at Dankwardt Park, where citizens will be allowed to give their thoughts to city staff. The Burlington Beacon reports that Burlington's Capital Improvement Program includes $300,000 in the 2022 fiscal year for the Dankwardt playground project.

The Killeen City Council will continue to discuss the budget for the Fiscal Year 2022 at two meetings this week, after a motion pushed off discussion of the budget until this week.
