Governor Ron DeSantis issued updates on the State of Florida’s Israel Rescue Operation. As of today, nearly 700 Americans have been flown back to Florida on four flights and received supportive resources made available by several Florida state agencies and volunteer organizations.

In total, 19 buildings operated by the Dept. of Buildings and General Services were impacted in some way by the floods. Six of them are still closed, including The Pavilion, where the governor's office is located.

Hundreds were arrested Wednesday after pro-Palestinian protests broke out on Capitol Hill, with demonstrators flooding into the Cannon House Office Building and large crowds gathering with flags and signs around the Capitol complex.

Approximately 300 people were arrested by Capitol Police during a large-scale demonstration on Wednesday against the Israel-Hamas war, a Capitol Police spokesperson said. Most were arrested for demonstrating in the Capitol, according to the spokesperson.
