The Delhi Women s Commission (DCW) had honored a total of 48 people who have worked for the interests of women.
The Commission organized an award ceremony with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as the chief guest. In the programme, defence, sports, social institutions and common citizens were honored for their work.
Along with Delhi Police Head Constable Seema Dhaka, the Commission also honoured several officers of the police department who saved the lives of women and children. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also felicitated the Delhi Police jawans with awards.
